4 months (2 days early)

Monday Nathan will be 4 months!  Incredible. He has had several milestones this week . . . He can roll over from his back to his tummy, and he usually naps on his tummy now.  Today he rolled from his tummy to his back, so that was fun!  We think he is cutting or starting to cut a tooth, but who knows for sure :).  We also started reading The Jesus Storybook Bible in the afternoons.  My sister got it for Nathan and she warned me about how touching it is . . . yep, cried all the way through  the first chapter, "In the beginning".  We celebrated Daddy's Birthday on Wednesday and went to Cambria for the night.  It was Nathan's first time in a hotel.  He did great, but we will probably wait awhile to do it again (It stressed me out too much :)  ).  So here are some pictures from our eventful week!

3 1/2 months (15 weeks)

Do you ever feel like time passes too quickly? That is how we are feeling watching Nathan grow.  Carl said just today how day by day he is changing.  It is all good things, but just happening too quickly!  He opens his mouth wide when you give him kisses.  He would rather stand on your lap than sit.  He loves his bouncer and grabbing at the owl when it moves. And he gets so proud of himself when he can bounce it himself - the smile he gets when he does it is amazing! I love watching him look at new things! He loves the color RED and anything bright.  His hair is falling out, so soon we will have a bald baby, but he still looks adorable :).  He likes to fall asleep on his side and more often than not he is sleeping sideways in his crib.  He is also sleeping through the night on most nights and I am so thankful for that! Naps are still short during the day, but I am certainly not complaining!!

  We took a day trip to Paso this past week and picked up more olive oil and stopped at EOS winery to get a bottle of their Moscato.  We also attempted the Lemoore Veteran's Day Parade, and made it through about 5 cars :).  Both were a lot of fun (for us) and I love that we get to do things as a family.

 

 

3 months 1 week

aka Halloween week :). 

  We weighed & measured little man this past week and he is at 12 pounds and 24 inches long.  He is growing so quickly.  He can find his fingers more easily and is grasping at toys (or anything in his reach).  .  Nathan saw himself in the mirror this week and smiled and laughed - I watch the video often! We did not dress him up in a costume this year, but he wore an adorable First Halloween Outfit.  We also visited with Grandma & Grandpa in northern CA and had a great time visiting and meeting Aunt Michelle for the first time!
